Pharmacy Museum
The Pharmacy Museum is located in the Highlander's Cottage "Kleszczonka." The former 150-year-old forge, where among others horseshoe nails were produced (hence the name of the place), collapsed under snow in 2004, and the current building was erected in its place.
The Pharmacy Museum was established on the initiative of Jerzy Cienciała. Paweł Cienciała (the uncle of Mr. Jerzy's grandfather) ran the first pharmacy in Wisła and the surrounding area. He left behind many pharmacy treasures from the 19th century, which can be admired at the Pharmacy Museum. Among them are medicine containers, expert books, herb boards, scales, a pharmacy cabinet, as well as extraordinary historic objects: a 140-year-old chamfered herbal sauna and a 200-year-old wooden stethoscope.
